As part of our mission to position and support Gibraltar as a global fintech hub, the Blockchain Innovation Centre (BIC) is hosting the first professional Gibraltar Blockchain Educational Workshop. This latest initiative, in collaboration with the University of Gibraltar, will be taking place on Monday 19th November.
About London Blockchain Labs (LBL)
The full day’s workshop is to be delivered by London Blockchain Labs (LBL). Based at UCL, LSE and Imperial College London, LBL is a community of students, entrepreneurs, and developers who provide training on working with blockchain technologies.
The workshop sessions will be conducted by Isaac Sultan, LBL Smart Contracts Developer, Federico Rocchi, LBL Director of Business Development, and Dr Enrico Rossi, LSE Fellow: Information Systems and Innovation Faculty and Ilya Kleyner, LBL Executive Director. The LBL team have a wealth of knowledge in blockchain technology, working for firms such as Deloitte Blockchain Labs, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Blockchain at Berkeley.
The Blockchain Workshop
Held at the University of Gibraltar, the Blockchain Workshop will run from 08:30 am – 4:30 pm. Catering will be provided throughout the day, including coffee breaks and lunch. The sessions include an introduction to blockchain technology and it’s characteristics, the governance and consensus around blockchain, and examples of its many uses. Tickets are priced at £50.
